How the Workplace Is Changing | Lifesize at InfoComm

Even the trade-show floor can become a perfect huddle room space when you take the advice of our handy “Five must-haves for any great huddle room” guide. Our space consisted of a small table, four chairs and a Lifesize Icon 400, where we were able to schedule meetings and show off how simple it is to make and receive audio, web and video conferencing calls with our all-in-one cloud-based meeting app.

InfoComm has traditionally focused on AV providers, but this year we saw a big shift to the collaboration and UC space. The theme of the show focused on “how the workplace is changing” — fitting for a company like ours that has undergone such an important change in the last two years. It was also fitting for the show floor full of other cloud-based businesses showcasing their solutions. It was great to meet with customers and show attendees and see how absolutely thrilled they were to see video conferencing as a managed service in the cloud. No longer will they need to involve themselves in costly and difficult-to-manage infrastructure — now they get to focus on easy, reliable and affordable video conferencing.

The media was out in full effect at the event. David Maldow from Let’s Do Video stopped by and sat down with our own Adam Moulden to discuss the latest product updates and the future of Lifesize.
